The Sustainability Institute staff consists of a Chief Sustainability Officer who serves as the Executive Director, a Faculty Director, and dedicated administrative staff who help implement our core programs.

Kwasi Densu, PhD - Assistant Faculty Director

kdensuDr. Kwasi Densu is an assistant professor of political science in the College of Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities with research interests in environmental politics, agrarian social movements and Africana political theory. As an Assistant Faculty Director of the Sustainability Institute, Dr. Densu leads the sustainability curriculum integration effort and helps to steer multi-stakeholder engagement through the Indaba Focus Teams.

Kayana Gaines – Administrative Coordinator

Kayana web Kayana joins the Sustainability Institute after working in the Office of the President, Office of Communications and the Office of Alumni Affairs. Kayana provides administrative coordination for programs and initiatives, facilitates transactions and is a first line of contact for our many stakeholders.
