External Advisory Board

The SI External Advisory Board consists of dynamic industry leaders assembled by the university president to advise the Sustainability Institute on its objective to advance social, environmental and economic vitality for the campus, surrounding community and beyond.

Bridgette Bell

Bridgette Bell is the Global Category Leader and previously the Global Sustainability Manager for Yum! Brands. Yum! Brands is a growing fast food chain with about 41,000 restaurants in 124 countries. They own restaurants such as Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell. She graduated from Florida A&M University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering and an open mind to the opportunities the world would bring down her path.

Ralph Christy

Ralph D. Christy serves as the Director of the International Institute for Food, Agriculture and Development and Professor of Emerging Markets at Cornell University, where he teaches and conducts food marketing research and educational programs on the economic performance of markets and distribution systems. He has advised industry leaders and public policy makers on food marketing strategies, economic development, and the organization of the global food economy.

Sue Dick

Sue Dick has served as the President/CEO of the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce since 1999. The Chamber is a 501(c) 6 organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and has been accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at a Four-Star Gold Ranking. Her responsibilities include oversight of a $2 Million budget and management of a membership base of over 1,500 local and regional businesses.

Julian McQueen

Julian McQueen serves as Director of Education and Outreach for Green For All. His career is fueled by a strong belief in authentic movements that are powered by people. To this end, he’s engaged thousands of young people in the climate movement, by going on tour with Drake and Wiz Khalifa, and by organizing Green For All’s College Ambassador program, which cultivates environmental leaders at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth D. Moore serves as Senior Vice President of Consolidated Edison Inc. and has been its General Counsel since May 2009. She has served as a General Counsel of Consolidated Edison Inc. since May 2009. Prior to joining the utility, Moore was a partner at Nixon Peabody L.L.P., counseling clients in the areas of public finance, government regulation and employment law, co-chairing the firm’s Diversity Action Committee and established an award-winning inclusion program.

Charley Cohen is the Sustainability Education Director for Siemens Industry, Inc. Mr. Cohen oversees the Building Education Program which has helped enhance the educational opportunities for students and staff at academic and research institutes. Through this program, Siemens partners with educational and research institutions to provide enhanced academic programs and employment preparation for students. Through these public-private partnerships, Siemens aims to support the next generation of engineers in the USA.
