COMPETITION      EXHIBIT      MURAL     BECOME A PATRON

The “Art of Sustainability” initiative recognizes and celebrates the interdisciplinary nature of achieving ecological balance by using art to disrupt silos. The initiative brings the campus community together to co-create special design projects that bridge art and science. This year, Artist in Residence Kabuya P. Bowens-Saffo, founder of CAP: Collaborative ARTS Projects, designs the campus-wide art competition and exhibitions as a preliminary “Think-Tank” experience as well as a collaborative mural for the newly established FAMU Recycling Center. The mural will be unveiled on Earth Day in April 22, 2016.
