Throughout the history of FAMU, countless residents in the North Florida region have been enriched through the positive impact of research, education and service activities. For example, the FAMU Cooperative Extension Program provides research-based educational information and direct technical assistance to improve the quality of life for limited resource citizens in 18 counties in Florida. Similarly, our students are engaged in numerous service learning projects and community service activities that enrich the lives of community members and improve our neighborhoods.

With partnerships across various departments, local organizations and international agencies, FAMU students and faculty are actively engaged and making an impact around the world.
